Parking and Access
With most teams returning for their training at the Plume AGP we wanted to share an update from Maldon District Council and the Plume School on access to the Plume AGP which will be in place for at least the next couple of weeks as the school progresses through its building works.
We will continue to provide updates when we have them but please share the below with your parents and players.
There is no access to the pitch from the school site, all access is via the footpath from the Doctors field
There is free parking available at the Council Office car park on Princes Road, CM9 5DL Monday to Friday.
Over the weekends parking is pay and display at the council offices and in the town centre car parks.
Please allow extra time to access the site before your session and consider ride sharing or walking to site if possible.
The school are planning to have a temporary toilet in place while there is no access to the schools changing rooms.
Parents
May we also take this opportunity to remind you that it is strictly coaches and players ONLY on the Astro during sessions. All parents must stay off the Astro behind the viewing barriers.
Shinpads
Also shin pads are compulsory for their protection to take part in any training session. If your child is not wearing shin pads they will be asked to sit out the training session.
Footwear
Metal studs are not permitted on the Astro.
Astro shoes or moulded studs are suitable.
